Fundraising for Disasters Emergency Committee

Intense tropical cyclone Idai in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi is one of the worst tropical cyclones to ever affect Africa. It has left thousands dead or missing, a truly huge Humanitarian catastrophe left behind by Cyclone Idai. As the BBC is no longer highlighting this tragedy in their broadcasts we at Magmatic Stories are trying to do our bit as the magnitude of this humanitarian crisis has left rescuers overwhelmed.

Partnering with the Disaster Emergency Committee we set up a fundraising event at the Cardiff and Vale College in Cardiff, raising awareness and gaining funds towards the Cyclone Idai Appeal.
